I help women restore their metabolism, sleep better and have more energy through lab analysis, whole food nutrition and simple lifestyle changes.

Hi. I’m Jennifer.

I’m a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), and I’m passionate about nutrition and helping individuals address the root cause of their health concerns. I have been trained to use a combination of professional tools to assess your unique needs. These tools allow me to analyze your symptoms to identify any nutritional needs and prioritize what areas of the body to support. I will then recommend a diet and lifestyle plan that is unique to YOU. Together, we will work to strengthen and heal your body from the inside out!

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy is a food-first, root-cause approach to health and wellness. It takes an in-depth look at how the food you eat, your lifestyle and environmental exposures play a role in how you feel. Your body has the innate ability to heal itself if given the chance, and I can help with that by addressing the importance of proper support through the Foundations of Health: a nutrient-dense diet, digestion, blood sugar regulation, mineral status, fatty acids, and hydration. By focusing on the Foundations, our bodies will absorb the nutrients they need to achieve optimal health. If we eat a high refined, highly processed food diet, our bodies will become deficient, and our health will suffer. Optimal health can be achieved when we bring our body back into balance.

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, or HTMA is a functional test that is representative of the average rate of mineral and heavy metal accumulation in the hair over the previous 8-12 weeks. It gives us some insight into how your body is functioning on a cellular level. Best of all, it’s reliable, accurate and very cost-effective. I’m so excited to be including this test in my practice.

What are some things we can learn from HTMA?

  • Metabolic rate (fast or slow)

  • Stress levels

  • Adrenal and thyroid activity

  • Energy levels

  • If you’re eating enough protein or too many carbs

  • Mineral deficiencies and imbalances

  • Digestive health

What causes mineral imbalances?

  • First, you need to know our bodies can’t make minerals. We have to get them from the food we eat. Unfortunately, today’s soils are depleted of minerals and so we become deficient.

  • STRESS. Stress depletes minerals from the body.

  • Toxic metals and chemicals can replace minerals and interfere with mineral absorption.

  • Drinking water from the tap contains chlorine and fluoride which can displace other minerals.

  • Unhealthy lifestyles, for example, not getting enough sleep, over exercising or not exercising at all.
